AIT Bioscience is proud to announce that they are now signing on sponsors for studies and have done so for both GLP and non-regulated methods development and study bioanalysis. Bioscience will be ready to begin regulated studies this summer.

Due to the confidentiality agreements with these customers, Bioscience is not at liberty to reveal the companies’ identities or give details on the nature of the compounds they are working with.

According to Janna Chambers, regional business development manager, this is common when working in the pharmaceutical industry. “Company X’s next blockbuster drug could come through our doors, and it is imperative that we not discuss any details due to contractual proprietary information rules.”

AIT Bioscience has put in a significant amount of time and hard work to rise above the competition and win these contracts. “Clients are amazed to see what we have done. They see us as being different because of our fully paperless environment,” said Chambers. “Other companies say they are paperless, when really they are not. We have implemented systems and procedures that they have only dreamt of and been unable to put into action.”

Some of the new systems and procedures Bioscience has implemented include the Thermo TSQ Module, the Hamilton MicroStar Liquid Handler, and the IDBS Electronic Lab Notebook systems. “We also offer a significant reduction in time between sample receipt and final data availability,” said Chambers. “Much of our competition takes more than a month to do what we are proposing to do in two weeks or less.”
